Background: Bone toxicity and more specifically Radiotherapy Related Insufficiency Fractures (RRIFs) are common late effects of pelvic radiotherapy, associated with increased morbidity and reduced quality of life, while their cost to the health system is currently unknown. MiR-346 is an Androgen Receptor (AR)-activating miR that associates with DNA damage response (DDR)-linked transcripts in prostate cancer (PC).
